Solar freezers for economic growth

Speaking at three handover ceremonies, the UNDP’s Resident Representative,Fred Ampiah, reiterated the organisation’s commitment to gender empowerment, economic development, and environmental sustainability.

“This initiative is part of our efforts to support women’s economic empowerment and to improve their livelihoods. We believe that by providing access to renewable energy, we can help reduce poverty and inequality and promote sustainable development,” he said.

The events were attended by representatives of the women’s groups, government officials,and UNDP officials.
