Solar powered service station the new wave in Tanzania

Tanzania’s first solar energy powered service station was recently launched in Dar es Salaam by TotalEnergies Marketing.

The solar powered station along Samora Avenue in the Dar es Salaam city centre is part of wider plans by TotalEnergies to incorporate solar energy into 5,000 service stations in 57 countries. They intend to install solar panels at 1,000 service stations every year, in line with their climate ambition to reach net zero carbon emission.
